The recall includes Prius model years 2010 through 2014.
The Japanese automaker says there's a software problem that can cause the vehicle to shut down while it's being driven.
The recall also includes the 2012 Rav-Four, the 2012 and 2013 Tacoma, and the 2012 and 2013 Lexus R-X-350 to address a separate issue.
