An investigation in Effingham is underway after weapons and explosives were collected from a home Sunday. The home is located on the 600 block of Fourth Street near the train tracks. Officials say the Effingham Police Department is teaming up with agents from the Alcohol, Tabacco and Firearm Agency to investigate the incident. This case will be reviewed by both federal and and state authorities. News Watch spoke with several neighbors in the area today, and most of them say the ATF agents advised them not to say anything regarding the investigaiton.
