Lake Land College Announces Presidential Search Finalists

Lake Land Community College is closer to naming a new president.

On Tuesday, the college announced the list of presidential search finalists.

Jonathan (Josh) Bullock, Ph.D. is the vice president for strategic advancement at Moraine Park Technical College in Fond du Lac, Wis.

Prior to taking on this role in 2008, he was the institutional research and institutional advancement partner at the same institution from 2002 to 2008.

Since 2009 he has been an adjunct professor at Marian University.

His academic background includes a doctoral degree from Marian University, a master’s in business administration from the University of Wisconsin in Oshkosh and a bachelor’s of business administration from the University of Wisconsin in Madison.

Bullock will visit Lake Land on Monday, February 25, 2013.

Keith Cornille, Ed.D., is the vice president of student development at Madison Area Technical College.

Prior to taking on this role in 2010, he was the executive dean of learner development from 2006 to 2009 and student life administrator from 2000 to 2006 at the same institution.  

He has a doctorate of education from Edgewood College, a master’s degree in educational administration from Northeastern Illinois University, a bachelor’s degree in political science from Eastern Illinois University and an associate degree from the College of DuPage.

Cornille will visit Lake Land on Tuesday, February 26, 2013.

Matt Fowler, Ph.D., is the president of Wabash Valley College in Mt. Carmel, Ill. Prior to taking on this role in 2007, he was the dean of instruction from 2003 to 2007 and a full-time faculty member from 1999 to 2003 at the same institution.  

He has a doctoral degree from the University of Nebraska, a master’s in business administration from Morehead State University and a bachelor’s degree in finance from Millikin University.

Fowler will visit Lake Land on Wednesday, February 27, 2013.

In March 2012, current Lake Land President Scott Lensink announced his retirement.

His last day will be June 30th.  

The new president will take office July 1st.
