The Chicago Cubs are making some off-season deals!
Chicago offered pitchers Jeff Samardzija and Travis Wood contracts for the 2014 season.
Catcher George Kottaras and infielder Donnie Murphy also reached agreements with the team.
Samardzija struck out more than 200 batters last season.
Wood started 32 games for the team posting a 3.1 earned run average.
