The holidays are fast approaching and if you won't be home for them, one local town says there's still a way to make sure your property is extra safe.
The Casey Police Department says if you plan to be away this holiday season you can fill out a form to be put on the local watch program.
They say the program sends an on duty officer to check your property daily while you're gone.
Officials also recommend people not to post they're travel itineraries on social media sites.
