Active Shooter Training

Casey High School goes on lockdown so police can get some hands-on practice dealing with an active shooter situation training that involved a lot of blank bullets! City, county, and state officers came to Casey today to train for the situation any parent, including Danni Smith, dreads: a school shooting. Monday's training put officers through realistic simulations. Some of the tactics taught in the session are being kept under wraps so officer response can't be predicted. One officer says they take this training very seriously and hope they never have to use it.
