A not guilty plea is entered in a Coles County court case involving a man police say withheld information on Mattoon shooting.
In April, Brooke Deadmond of Toledo and Andrew May of Mattoon were arrested on charges related to the shooting of Benjamin Newton at Toaster's Bar in Mattoon on March 18th.
Police say the pair withheld information on the shooting death and robbery of Newton.
May, who's also charged with possession of a stolen firearm, appeared in court Monday and pleaded not guilty to the charges.
Deadmond returns to court June 21st.
