Appearing via closed circuit television, a basketball coach accused of sexual assault participates in his first court hearing.

A man heavily involved in several local basketball programs appears in court.

Barry Wolfe is accused of four counts of sexual assault and sexual abuse to minors while serving as a basketball coach.

Wolfe appeared via closed circuit television and learned he could face up to 15 years in prison.

Last Thursday, Mattoon police arrested Wolfe at the Casey police department.

Police say Wolfe is accused of engaging in oral sex and other sexual acts with a juvenile female from Mattoon.

Wolfe's next court appearance is on November 2nd.

He remains in jail with bond set at 50-thousand dollars.

Wolfe is a coach with the Central Illinois Storm, a program with players from eastern Illinois and western Indiana.
