Police Halloween Patrols

Friday, 27 October 2017

Police patrols are increasing this weekend to keep roads safe for early Halloween celebrations.
Illinois State Police said they'll begin increasing enforcement starting today through Wednesday morning.
As Halloween approaches, officials said they'll focus on impaired or distracted drivers, speeding and people who aren't wearing seatbelts.
ISP Director Leo Schmitz said Halloween can be dangerous since children trick-or-treating tend to dart unexpectedly into the road.
