Not a HALF-TIME, but at HOMECOMING, the University of Illinois is welcoming back a former NFL player.
U of I alum Brandon Lloyd will serve as the grand marshal of this year's homecoming parade around campus on October 27th starting at six.
Lloyd set school records for receiving yards in 2001 and 2002, while setting the record for all purpose yards in 2001.
Lloyd was drafted by the San Francisco 49ers in 2003, and played for 11 teams over his career including the Chicago Bears who were coached by current U of I head coach, Lovie Smith.
