Urbana Man Charged in Pedestrian Accident

A Champaign driver is facing charges after a pedestrian accident.
Police said 35-year-old Shawndre Kyse was driving in the 400 block of South Vine Street yesterday when his vehicle ran into a 23-year-old Urbana resident crossing the street.
They said the victim was taken to the hospital and is in stable condition.
Kyse is charged with driving on a revoked driver's license and DUI drugs.
