A Macon County Deputy remains in jail after being denied a bond reduction.
Markes Rodgers appeared in court yesterday where the judge kept his bond at $500,000.
Christian County officials say Rodgers fired multiple shots at his wife as she fled their home on Sunday.
After firing shots Rodgers then barricaded himself in his home leading to a stand off with Illinois State police.
A preliminary hearing is set for the October 3rd.
