Eastern Illinois is maintaining it's position as a top Illinois university.
U.S. News and World Report's 2018 University rankings have EIU listed as the top public university in Illinois for the second year in a row.
Eastern's president David Glassman says the ranking is a testament to Eastern's academic quality, student life opportunities, and comprehensive value.
The U.S. News report also ranks Eastern in the top ten for midwestern Universities as well.
