A former Neoga police officer is sentenced after pleading guilty to aggravated criminal sexual abuse.
Forty-one year-old John Dilger was sentenced 90 days in Cumberland County Jail and four years of probation, Cumberland Couty court documents showed.
Dilger has to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life, documents said.
Dilger was arrested in 2015 for having sexual intercourse with a 16-year-old girl, police said.
The court also ruled he's not allowed to have contact with the victim.
