The Marshall Fire Department is allowing you to turn in the prescriptions for safe disposal as part of national prescription take back day.
The event is set for Saturday starting at 10 a.m. at the fire department on Illinois Route 1 and Archer Avenue.
Drug Enforcement Administration officials said this is an important way to safely dispose of the drugs, while also educating the public on potential prescription drug abuse.
