An early morning crash in Champaign turns deadly.
Illinois State Police say 55 year old Randy Leeman of Paris died after his vehicle failed to make a curve and left the side of the roadway on Illinois Route 49.
Authorities say the driver's vehicle became airborne and flipped several times before landing in a ditch.
Officials say the driver was airlifted to an area hospital where he later died.
A 22 year old male passenger was also transported to a hospital.
His condition is unknown.
