Paris Armed Robbery

In tonight's Crime Watch, a Terre Haute man is facing charges after police say he robbed a Paris business.

Paris Police chief Mike Henness said last Saturday a suspect went into Jim Elsberry Auto Sales, displayed a gun and demanded money.

According to court records, Thomas Bolton of Terre Haute is charged with armed robbery, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and theft.

Henness also tells News Watch the owner of the business was tied up during the robbery, but managed to free himself.

The investigation is ongoing.
