Richland Community College Cuts

Monday, 3 April 2017

Richland Community College in Decatur is planning to lay off more staff amid budget problems and declining enrollment.

School officials say 18 employees will be laid off as part of the colleges effort to cut $1.4 million.

That's 9.2% of this year's fiscal budget.

School officials say they haven't received any state funding, which would have totaled more than $2 million this year.
