Champaign police arrested 50-year-old Eric Motton on Wednesday at a home in the 1000 block of N. Neil Street.
Police say several Crime Stoppers tips helped detectives identify and locate Motton who's currently on parole from the Illinois Department of Corrections for a previous firearms offense.

A bank robbery is reported in Champaign.
Police say around 9am Monday, a suspect walked into the Busey Bank on West Springfield Avenue demanded money and implied he had a weapon.
Police say the suspect was given an undetermined amount of cash and fled the bank on foot.
They say no injuries were reported.
