A Jasper County man dies in a single vehicle accident over the weekend.
The Illinois State Police say Jerry Donaldson (48) of Hidalgo was pronounced dead Sunday after his vehicle went off the highway near Wheeler.
The accident happened on Route 33 and County Road 200 East early Sunday morning.
Police say Donaldson went off the right side of the roadway before he overcorrected and was ejected from the vehicle.
Funeral arrangements for Donaldson are pending.
