The State of Illinois may soon be home to six new casinos.
The proposal comes as part of the failed "grand bargain" to end Illinois' two-year deadlock over an annual spending plan.
Under the proposal, new casinos would be put in six locations, including one in Chicago.
The state currently has ten establishments.
State Senators are already showing signs of approval for the measure.
