Indiana State University has added a new face to its football program.

The Sycamores have announced the hiring of new head football coach Curt Mallory after the departure of Mike Sanford, who took a job coaching with his son at Western Kentucky.

Mallory has 22 years of college coaching experience and spent the last year as defensive coordinator at Wyoming.

Before that, he was a defensive back's coach at Michigan.

The Sycamores ended last season with a 4-7 record.
