A Mattoon woman is dead after being ejected from a car.
Police say 23 year old Kayla Eggers was killed late Friday night after a vehicle failed to stop at the intersection of Illinois Route 130 and County Road 1500 North.
The car went off the road and hit a bridge before going into a creek.
Twenty-three year old Shelby Espe was cited for driving under the influence of alcohol.
Funeral services for Eggers are set for Thursday at Schilling Funeral Home.
