The Eastern Illinois men and women's basketball teams played in front of their home fans but continued to struggle.
The women were back in Lantz Arena with an Ohio Valley Conference matchup against Austin Peay.
After having a nine point lead going into halftime, the Panthers were outscored in the second 44-25 in what resulted into a 69-59 loss to the Governors.
There wasn't much luck on the men's side either as Eastern also faced Austin Peay with a similar result.
Eastern eventually found its way back from an early deficit, ending the first half on a 9-2 run with the help of some dominance in the paint from Muusa Dama.
It wouldn't be enough though as the Panthers struggled to makeanythingdown the stretch, and drop to 1-4 in the Ohio Valley Conference with the 92-84 loss.
