A student-lead organization is pushing to make Indiana State University tobacco free.

Indiana State officials say Tobacco-Free Blue was founded last spring to advocate for a complete tobacco policy.

The school's current policy says it is tobaccoo-free, except for the designated areas and private vehicles on campus.

Tobacco-Free Blue President Katie Lugar says they have collected more than one-thousand signatures.

Lugar says the group plans to meet with the university's president and trustees about the issue.
