A death investigation is underway for an Indiana State University student after an off-campus fraternity event. Police officials say 19-year-old Yiorgo Karnezis was recovered from a pond in Dennison Illinois after falling from a small boat early Sunday. Karnezis was taken to Regional Hospital in Terre Haute where he later died. ISU's Sigma Chi has been suspended by the university during the investigation.
