Memorial Stadium Renovations

Monday, 3 October 2016

While the Illini football team was playing at Nebraska over the weekend, plans were announced back home at Memorial Stadium.

The University said plans will be presented to the board of trustees to renovate the south and east sides of the football stadium.

Renovations include moving the football offices, locker rooms, and training areas from the north end of the stadium to the area behind the south end zone.

Funds for this $132 million project will come from donations and the department of intercollegiate athletics revenue.
