While Eastern Illinois University is climbing in the rankings, the University of Illinois is dropping.
The school fell in the US News and World report rankings of national colleges.
The reports lists U of I in the 44th spot on the list, which is a drop of three places compared to last year's rankings.
Several other schools tied for the 44th position including University of Miami, University of Wisconsin-Madison, and LeHigh.
