The Chicago Cubs gain bragging rights after a blowout game Monday night.
    Chicago's Kris Bryant, Addison Russell and Jason Heyward all homered to back Jon Lester's strong outing in the 5-to-1 win against the San Diego Padres.
      Bryant's solo shot in the fifth inning was his 32nd of the year, tying him with Colorado's Nolan Arenado for the National League lead.
    Russell added his third home run in two days, while Hayward got his first since July.
    Lester limited the Padres to a run and struck out eight.
    The National League Central-leading Cubs won six of their last eight games.
    They're back in action Tuesday night at 9:15.
