Autopsy results are pending on two Greenup residents killed in a house fire.
Cumberland County coroner Chuck Layton says the fire happened Saturday night at 518 N. Mill Street.
Layton says 61-year-old Darrell Albert and his nephew 29-year-old Timothy Thomas died in the blaze.
Layton says Thomas was outside the home with this wife and children when he noticed the house on fire.
Authorities say Thomas went back inside the home in an attempt to rescue his uncle.
The Illinois State Fire Marshal's office is investigating the cause.
Fire officials say no other injuries were reported.
