A fatal accident is under investigation in Edgar County Illinois.
Authorities say just before 9 Wednesday morning, a crash happened south of Paris on Illinois Route 1.
They say a pick-up truck driven by 73-year-old Stanley Wallace of Marshall crossed the center line and hit a semi-truck head on.
Wallace was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say the truck driver was treated for minor injuries.
