The University of Illinois faculty calls off the last two days of their five-day strike after finally reaching a contract agreement.

The Non-Tenure Faculty Coalition Local 6546 says the union and the school finalized their mulit-year contract agreement Saturday night.

The union went on strike last Wednesday and was scheduled to continue until Tuesday.

Union president Shawn Gilmore says a ratification vote is scheduled for Thursday, meanwhile classes continue as normal.
