Man Arrested on Sexual Assault Charges

A man facing criminal charges for molesting a child in Indiana is also under investigation in Illinois.
Officials say 61-year-old Bernard Coffer lives part time in Urbana and also Gary Indiana.
They say Coffer is accused of having sexual contact with a child in Indiana between January 2012 and July 2015.
Local authorities are investigating whether Coffer had inappropriate contact with the same child in Urbana.
If convicted he faces up to 40 years in prison.
