The name of the man killed in a Douglas County car accident is released.
Douglas County Coroner, Joe Victor, says the victim was 21-year-old Caleb Rakestraw of Gays.
The Illinois State Police say the crash happened on U.S. 45 a mile south of Arcola.
Police say Rakestraw's vehicle crossed the center and hit an oncoming semi truck, head on.
Officials say Rakestraw was pronounced dead at the scene, while the truck driver wasn't hurt.
The investigation is ongoing.
