Plans to re-open a resort facility in Findlay are once again halted, due to the state budget impass.
Recently, it was announced that the Illinois Department of Natural Resources would perform a study to determine the potential future of Eagle Creek Resort.
The state is unable too pay a remaining $92,000 for the evaluation.
Moultrie County Board Chair Dave McCabe says Moultrie County had planned to split the $92,000 with Shelby county until the state could reimburse them.
McCabe says both counties agree, it's too risky with the state's current financial situation.
