A program at the University of Illinois has coaches and administrators on the road.
The program "Fighting Illini Wheels" has vehicles from 33 dealerships, and are worth about $1.5 million.
University spokesman Kent Brown says basketball coach John Groce has a 2015 BMW valued at more than $68,000, while Athletic Director Mike Thomas drives a 2014 Hyundai.
Brown says officials can drive the cars for personal and business use, but they are responsible for gas and maintenance.
