A national guard staff sergeant from Pana is arrested on sexual abuse charges.
Officials say Michael Evrley ,33, was arrested Thursday at the Illinois Department of Correction's Academy while attending cadet training to become a correctional officer.
They say he was charged for a Christian County incident involving a female juvenile.
Evrley remains in the Sangamon County Jail on 50 thousand dollars bond.
The investigation is ongoing.
