The completion date for the remodeling of the Effingham Library has been pushed back.
Poettker Construction, the general contractor of the project was granted 30 additional days for the construction.
Library Director, Amanda McKay says they're now looking at the project being completed around August 1st, but that date isn't move-in day.
McKay says the construction crew is currently putting walls up and assembling desks and chairs.
She hopes the new building will open this fall, in time for new the school year.
