Thursday, 19 March 2015

A measure looking to become law involves D-U-I offenders.

Secretary of State Jesse White wants to require Breath Alcohol Ignition Interlock Devices to be installed on all vehicles used by D-U-I offenders.

This device prevents the offender from starting their car if a breath sample registers a blood alcohol content of .025 or more.

The house approved the plan and it now goes to the state senate for consideration.
