Drive sober or get pulled over: that's the message from local police as many of us get ready to celebrate St. Patrick's Day!
The Mattoon Police department will be working overtime conducting special patrols during the Saint Patrick's Day weekend starting March 14th.
Officials say this holiday can be a deadly and dangerous time on the roads.
Police will be out looking for drunk drivers and those not wearing seatbelts.
The enforcement runs through March 17th.
