An Effingham County man is accused of kidnapping a young girl.
Authorities say 60-year-old karate instructor, Steven Larson, met a 13-year-old female student for a ride to karate class.
They say a search for the student started Saturday when she was reported missing.
The two were found in Sikeston, Missouri on Sunday.
The girl was taken to a local hospital and is now back home.
Larson remains in the Scott County jail pending extradition back to Illinois.
Authorities say, a motive isn't known at this time and Larson doesn't have a criminal past.
