Carbon Monoxide Dangers

With winter in full swing, many are closing windows tight to keep the heat in! But what you may also trap inside that you aren't aware of, is carbon monoxide. Today, News Watch spoke with Charleston Fire Chief Pat Goodwin, who says it's important to get the word out about this dangerous gas. Goodwin also says Charleston residents have no reason to be without fresh batteries or a carbon monoxide detector. He says you can call or come by the fire station to get whichever you need, and that there are even special detectors available for the blind and deaf.
