A local former doctor faces up to 140 years in federal prison.
60-year-old Naeem Kohli of Effingham was found guilty Tuesday of seven counts of illegally dispensing controlled substances, such as methadone and oxycodone over the course of four years.
Kohli was chargedlast March with health care fraud and illegally dispensing drugs.
The government was suspended Kohli's license in July.
His sentencing is scheduled for May 20th.
