A sales tax is expanding to include online retail companies like Amazon.
Starting next month, Amazon will be collecting a 6% sales tax from Illinois shoppers, thanks to a new state law!
Previously, Illinois law didn't require the tax, but after a move by the supreme court, it was implemented.
Amazon spokesman TY Rogers says the new policy will start February 1st.
