A new University of Illinois group plans to make a difference.
The U of I Task Force on Sexual Assault met for the first time Wednesday.
The committee's first plans are to survey the U of I's three campuses to assess sexual violence.
University President Robert Easter created the group in October.
He says the task force was started because sexual violence on college campuses has become a prominent national issue.
The task force has about 18 members including students, public safety officials, and others.
