Urbana Bank Robbery

Thursday morning Urbana police were dispatched to a report of a bank robbery at the Heartland Bank located at 1812 S. Philo Road, Urbana.
Officers arrived and found the robber had since fled the scene.
Police say the suspect entered the bank and brandished a handgun while demanding money.
They say an undetermined amount of money was given to the suspect, who subsequently fled the bank on foot.
The suspect was wearing a camouflage vest over a gray hooded sweatshirt.
Authorities say the hood was up, but it did not conceal his face nor long, exposed black hair that is believed to be a wig.
No injuries were reported.
