A flag pole recently stolen in Decatur is back tonight.
The soldiers at the VFW post 730 dedicated the new flag pole with a rifle salute from the Macon County Honor Guard.
In September someone cut down and stole the flag pole outside the Wilson & Taylor Veterans of Foreign Wars Post in Decatur.
Post 730's quartermaster Ivery Chambliss says he was shocked when he found the flag lying in the mud.
He suspects the old flag pole was stolen and sold for scrap.
