CHAMPAIGN, IL - Employee's salaries at a local university are on the rise.
A review of data from the University of Illinois showed payroll at the campus increased by about 3 percent this year.
Data show the biggest paychecks go to the Illini football and basketball coaches.
Deans and administrators are other top earners.
School officials said the rise in salaries is because of a salary program announced in June.
