If some of those leaves have fallen and you want them out of your yard... you're in luck!
The Mattoon fall collection schedule is October 27th through December 19th.
City officials say make sure all materials are in 30 pound paper yard waste bags, and placed within ten feet of the curb to make sure the leaves get picked up on your scheduled day.
The yard waste facility is also open seven days a week during daylight hours.
