DECATUR, IL - Akron Incorported broke ground Thursday on a project that will add forty thousand square feet to its plant.
Akron said the expansion is going to help the company increase its production.
The Decatur based company makes generic pharmaceuticals and currently employs 435 people.
It said it hopes the expansion creates even more jobs.
